DGCA Issues Advisory, Bans Flights To 11 Countries : Amid the ongoing war in the Middle East, the DGCA has issued a safety advisory for Indian airlines. It has issued a strict warning about the increasing threat to airspace over the Middle East and the Gulf. Due to the increasing threat, the DGCA has suspended air services to 11 countries. The advisory said that in the current situation, flying over the region can be risky and airlines should exercise caution.
The biggest threat is retaliatory strikes. Now it can affect neighboring countries including America and Israel. The second threat signal can fall on air defense systems. So keeping this in mind, DGCA has stopped flights from 11 countries.
According to sources, DGCA has issued an advisory for air services to 11 countries – Iran, Israel, UAE, Qatar, Lebanon, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Iraq, Jordan. DGCA has ordered such a move as there may be a sudden attack. Along with this, the government is in constant touch with airlines and foreign regulators.
