EPFO services will not only affect the official portal but also the UMANG app. All services will be resumed on 29 June from 12 midnight.
EPFO portal will remain closed for 3 days: If you are planning to withdraw your PF money or file a claim, then this news is for you. Employees Provident Fund Organization(EPFO) has decided to undertake a major technical upgrade and database consolidation in its online system. Following this, many important online services will remain suspended for a few days. In such a situation, crores of PF account holders should wind up their important work earlier.
According to a notification issued by EPFO, claim submission and claim processing services will be temporarily affected from 26 June 2026 at 12 pm to 28 June 2026 at 11: 59 pm. The organization says that this step has been taken to improve services, increase processing speed, and provide a better user experience. However, EPFO has claimed that all services will be resumed on 29 June from 12 midnight. PF members will not be able to use many facilities during the scheduled maintenance period. This includes submission of the PF claim and claim processing. PF members who have already submitted their claim will not be processed during this period.
EPFO services will not only affect the official portal but also the UMANG app. This app provides facilities like checking PF balance, filing a claim, checking claim status, availing UAN services, reporting complaints, and obtaining a life certificate. It is worth noting that the government has approved 8.25% interest rate on EPF deposits for the financial year 2025-26.
