Air India Fare Hike Linked to Rising Jet Fuel Prices

According to the airline, passengers will pay around $10 for flights to West Asia, $60 for Southeast Asia, and $90 for Africa. These changes will also apply to flights to Singapore, where currently no fuel surcharge is charged.

Air India said the decision was taken due to the sharp rise in jet fuel prices, which has been linked to tensions and conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran in the Middle East.
