Bhadrak Floods: Holiday Declared for 139 Schools in Four Blocks
Flood Alert in Bhadrak: 139 Schools Declared Holiday Today: In view of the flood situation, authorities have declared a holiday for 139 schools across four flood-affected blocks of Bhadrak district today.
The holiday has been announced for schools in Bhadrak, Tihidi, Dhamnagar and Chandbali blocks as a precautionary measure amid the prevailing flood conditions.
Besides schools, 225 Anganwadi centres across five blocks, including Basudevpur, have also been declared closed for the day.
The decision has been taken keeping the safety of students, children and staff in mind amid the flood situation in the district.
Jajpur: The District Collector has ordered the closure of 244 schools across eight flood-affected blocks like Bari, Dasarathpur, Binjharpur, Rasulpur, Korei, Dharmasala, Jajpur and Badachana, as a safety measure.
