Gold Prices Skyrocket :The price of 22-carat gold has crossed Rs 130,000 per 10 grams in Bhubaneswar. This is an increase of Rs 1,550 compared to Saturday. The price of 24-carat gold has increased by Rs 1690 to Rs 142,150.
Due to geopolitical instability in the world, the price of gold and silver has increased to a new record. This has affected the Indian market. Today, the price of 22-carat gold has crossed Rs 130,000 per 10 grams in Bhubaneswar. This price has increased by Rs 1,550 compared to Saturday. The price of 24-carat gold has increased by Rs 1690 to Rs 142,150. There has been a bigger increase in the price of silver than gold. The price of silver per kilogram has become more expensive by Rs 12,000 today. With this, the price of silver has touched Rs 287,000.
On the first day of 2026 , the prices of 24 and 22 carat gold in Bhubaneswar market were Rs 1,35,060 and Rs 1,23,800 respectively. Therefore, the price of this metal has increased by 5.25 percent in the last 12 days. On the other hand, the price of silver has become expensive by 12.11 percent in the first 12 days of 2026. On the first day of 2026, the price of silver was Rs 2,56,000. Therefore, the price of silver has become expensive by Rs 31,000 in the meantime. Since America and Iran are in a face-to-face situation, this has affected the precious metal market like gold and silver. Therefore, experts have opined that the price is increasing too much.
