In a recent podcast, 35-year-old Ben Stokes said that he is currently pursuing a Level-3 coaching course to acquire full coaching qualifications after his retirement from cricket. He said his goal is to finish all the required coaching courses before retiring from cricket. He knows what he wants to do in the future. It is to become a coach. Stokes also said that he likes to be in a leadership role off the field as well. According to him, working with the team and guiding the players has always attracted him. Stokes announced his retirement from international cricket during the Test series against New Zealand in June 2026. Before his retirement, England’s performance was disappointing. The team suffered a 2-1 loss in the Test series.
