India Squad Announced For Women T20 World Cup 2026 : The Indian cricket team for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 was announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday.The announced team was on the expected lines, with Harmanpreet Kaur leading as the Indian captain at the Women’s T20 World Cup for the fifth time.

Smriti Mandhana was named the vice-captain, with key batters Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues and Richa Ghosh also in the 15-member squad. All-rounder Deepti Sharma, Player of the tournament at the 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup, and pacer Renuka Singh will lead India’s bowling department. Amanjot Kaur and Kashvee Gautam were not available for selection due to injury.

Indian women’s cricket team: Harmanpreet Kaur (captain), Smriti Mandhana (vice-captain), Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Bharti Fulmali, Deepti Sharma, Richa Ghosh (wicket-keeper), Shree Charani, Yastika Bhatia (wicket-keeper), Nandani Sharma, Arundhati Reddy, Renuka Singh, Kranti Gaud, Shreyanka Patil, Radha Yadav.

This will be the maiden appearance for four players in the squad, Bharti Fulmali, Nandani Sharma, Shree Charani and Kranti Gaud will be getting their first taste of an ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.

The same contingent will also be used for India’s three-match T20I series against England, which will be their final preparation ahead of the T20 World Cup.

First T20I: 28th May, Chelmsford
Second T20I: 30th May, Bristol
Third T20I: 2nd June, Taunton
