IPL auction today. The player auction or ‘mini auction’ for the 2026 IPL season will be held in Abu Dhabi. The auction process will begin at 2:30 pm Indian time. Kolkata Knight Riders have a maximum of Rs 64.3 crore in the current auction process. They can buy 13 players.

Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, have the lowest cap of Rs 2.75 crore. Chennai have Rs 43.40 crore. There are a total of 77 vacancies for 10 teams, but there are 359 players in the auction list. So the competition will be fierce. In the current auction, two Indian players, Venkatesh Iyer and Ravi Bishnoi, have a base price of Rs 2 crore each. Among the foreign players, Cameron Green, David Miller and Steve Smith will be the ones to watch.
Five players to be bought in IPL auction: Australian all-rounder Cameron Green is likely to fetch the most money. He has a base price of Rs 2 crore. Similarly, Indian all-rounder Venkatesh Iyer has a base price of Rs 2 crore. Indian spinner Ravi Bishnoi also has a base price of Rs 2 crore. Junior bowler Parichik Mathisha Pethirana has been released from Chennai. South African players David Miller, Liam Livingstone and Steve Smith will also be kept in mind.
