No official will be allowed to leave their headquarters without the permission of the competent authority from October 26 to 31
Leaves of all govt employees cancelled amid cyclone fear: The Khordha district administration has cancelled the leave of all government employees in view of a developing cyclonic system over the Bay of Bengal. Leaves has been cancelled from October 26 to 31.
According to an order issued by the Khordha Collector, all government officials in the district have been directed to remain at their respective headquarters until further orders. Those are already on leave must rejoin duty immediately.
The order states that no official will be allowed to leave their headquarters without the permission of the competent authority from October 26 to 31. All leave already sanctioned to government employees has been cancelled.
In a separate order, the Odisha government cancelled the leave of all district collectors, district magistrates and other officers posted in critical offices in view of impending cyclone.
