Mirzapur The Movie Released Date Announced : One of India’s most popular OTT franchises is now preparing to hit theaters. While Munna Bhaiya, Kaleen Bhaiya, and Guddu Pandit’s web series “Mirzapur” was a huge hit, it was followed by a second and third season. However, Season 3 failed to live up to fans’ expectations. The reason behind this was Munna Bhaiya’s exit, which was not as enjoyable. But then it was announced that the makers were releasing “Mirzapur: The Movie.” It will feature all the characters who began the web series together, along with some who left later, as the story progressed. While the film’s work is complete, the release date has also been revealed, which the makers announced on their official Instagram handle.

A photo was shared on the “Yeh Hai Mirzapur ” Instagram account. It showed a desert with a number of vehicles, in which several gun-toting thugs stood. At the end of these vehicles was the throne of Mirzapur, where Kaleen Bhaiya sits, but everyone’s eyes are on it. The caption read, “P…F…B…B…Get ready to welcome Mirzapur The Movie.” It also promised audiences a spectacular cinematic experience set in the same powerful world they love.
When will ‘Mirzapur The Movie’ release?
“Mirzapur The Movie” will hit theaters on September 4, 2026. It brings back Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi) and Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal). It also marks the return of one of the franchise’s most beloved characters, Munna Bhaiya (Divyenndu). This marks the first time the cult story of Mirzapur, which has previously been available only on OTT platforms, is coming to theaters. The film also stars Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Duggal, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Harshita Gaur, Sushant Singh Rajput, Mohit Malik, Sheeba Chaddha, Rajesh Tailang, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Sonal Chauhan, Pramod Pathak, and Anangsha Biswas.
This film is being produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment.
Gurmeet Singh has directed the film, and Puneet Krishna is the writer. It will be released in theaters on September 4, 2026, a film everyone is eagerly awaiting. Shah Rukh Khan’s King and Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayan are also scheduled to release in the last few months of the year. However, Mirzapur will arrive before that, at a time when no other major film releases are scheduled.
