Modi flags off Mehsana-Becharaji-Sabarmati MEMU train service: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday has officially flagged off the new Mehsana-Becharaji-Sabarmati MEMU train service. After a gap of 9 years, train services resumed on this important route, bringing joy to the entire region.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Gujarat today and flagged off the Ahmedabad (Sabarmati)-Varanasi Express and the Mehsana-Becharaji-Sabarmati MEMU train. The new services are expected to strengthen rail connectivity across Gujarat, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
The Mehsana-Becharaji-Sabarmati MEMU train will connect major cities, industrial areas and religious places of North Gujarat. During the journey, this train will stop at 9 stations in both directions. It includes Sabarmati, Chandkheda, Kalol, Kadi, Bhoyani, Katosan Road, Becharaji, Chansma, Ranuj and Mehsana.
The Mehsana-Becharaji-Sabarmati MEMU train service will be especially useful for commuters, college students, working people, traders and industrial workers. Apart from this, devotees going to the famous Shree Bahuchar Mata Mandir (Becharaji) will now also get great convenience.
For the convenience of passengers, Mehsana-Becharaji-Sabarmati MEMU trains have been given options for both morning and evening travel.

Sabarmati to Mehsana- The train will depart from Sabarmati at 06:40 AM and reach Becharaji at 08:05 AM. After this, the train will leave Becharaji at 08:07 and reach Mehsana at 09:45.
Mehsana to Sabarmati- In return, the train will leave Mehsana at 16:40 in the evening and reach Becharaji at 17:49. It will depart from there at 17:51 and reach Sabarmati at 20:30.
Evening train service
Sabarmati to Mehsana- The train will depart Sabarmati at 17:05 pm and reach Becharaji at 18:48 pm. After this, it will depart from Becharaji at 18:50 hrs and reach Mehsana at 20:25 hrs.
Mehsana to Sabarmati- In return, the train will leave Mehsana at 07:05 AM and reach Bechraji at 07:50 AM and will depart from there at 07:52 AM and reach Sabarmati at 10:20 AM.
