NEET Paper Leak Row: NTA dismissed 47 officials, 4 new GM to take charge: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has taken major action amid student protests over the NEET paper leak case. The agency has dismissed its 47 officers and employees with immediate effect. Legal and criminal action will also be taken against some of these people. Apart from this, some other steps can be taken to improve the system of NTA.
This major action has been taken right after the transfer of Higher Education Secretary Vineet Joshi. The NTA is set to completely replace its previous outsourcing model by recruiting specialist officers directly. Four new General Managers will be appointed. Officers will be assigned key responsibilities across various functions.

These promising youths will be posted first in the academic department of the agency. Along with this, their special services will also be taken in the legal and finance units.
These young professionals will play an important role in implementing new and secure methods in the examination system. The NTA management has made it clear that many more posts will be made in the coming weeks. This will also eliminate the lack of staff in the agency.
