NEET UG 2026 Paper Leak Allegations Trigger Major Controversy: A major controversy has erupted after allegations of a paper leak in the NEET UG 2026 examination. Reports claim that a “sample paper” sold to students before the exam contained nearly 140 questions similar to those asked in the actual test. The issue has increased anxiety among lakhs of medical aspirants and their parents across the country.
According to reports, the National Testing Agency (NTA) received information from Rajasthan and Uttarakhand about the circulation of a “guess paper” before the exam. Investigations by Rajasthan ATS and Special Operations Group (SOG) revealed that the paper may have been brought from Kerala to Sikar in Rajasthan. Officials suspect that a larger network could be involved in the distribution of the paper, and raids are being conducted at multiple locations.
The NTA has clarified that the NEET UG 2026 exam was conducted with strict security arrangements, including biometric verification, AI-based CCTV monitoring, and secure transportation of question papers. The agency said it has already shared information with investigating agencies and urged people not to jump to conclusions before the investigation is completed. Meanwhile, the controversy has once again raised serious concerns about the transparency and fairness of the NEET examination system.
