Odisha Appoints Nine IAS Officers As Sub-Collectors: In a major administrative move, the Odisha government has appointed 9 IAS officers of 2024-batch as sub-collectors across different districts. The appointments have been made after the officers completed their Phase-II training.
According to a notification issued by Odisha’s General Administration & Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department on September 8, nine IAS officers have been posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrates in different districts. The appointments have been made after the officers completed their Phase-II training.
As per the notification issued by order of the Governor, Animesh Pradhan has been posted as Sub-Collector, Athagada in Kataka district, while Prajnanandan Giri has been appointed as Sub-Collector, Talcher in Anugola district.
Kasturi Sha has been appointed as Sub-Collector, Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi district; Fabi Rasheed as Sub-Collector, Koraput; and Shubhra Panda as Sub-Collector, Jayapur, both in Koraput district.
Similarly, Mrinalika Rathore has been posted as Sub-Collector, Rayagada in Rayagada district; Pawan Kumar as Sub-Collector, Titilagarh, in Balangir district; Bhagat Shamal Kalyanrao as Sub-Collector, Paralakhemundi, in Gajapati district; and Santosh Kumar Patra as Sub-Collector, Banaigarh, in Sundargarh district.
