His 2024 release Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya had earned ₹7.02 crore on Day 1. With ₹8.25 crore, O Romeo has surpassed that figure and delivered a stronger start.

O’Romeo has now become one of Shahid Kapoor’s top opening-day performers. It has beaten the Day 1 collections of:
