President- PM to visit Rairangpur on June 20: Mayurbhanj braces for celebration to mark the completion of two years of the BJP government in the State. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday chaired a high-level meeting to review preparations for a major programme scheduled to be held in Rairangpur of Mayurbhanj district on June 20.
President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the event, as informed by the officials.
Reviewing the arrangements at Lok Seva Bhawan, the Chief Minister directed officials to ensure comprehensive security measures at the venue, adequate facilities for the public attending the programme, and proper parking arrangements.
Emphasising the importance of the event, special attention should be given to its smooth and successful conduct, said Majhi.
The meeting was also informed that several major projects related to Odisha’s development will be inaugurated. Along with these foundation stones will be laid during the programme by both the president and the prime minister.
Chief Secretary Anu Garg, Development Commissioner D.K. Singh, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Hemant Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Saswata Mishra, and other senior officials attended the review meeting.
The Rairangpur event will serve as a major milestone in Odisha’s governing journey. Which will highlight two years of administrative achievements and development initiatives.
