Rabri Devi vacates Patna bungalow: Rabri Devi vacates Patna bunglow, shifted to new residence: Former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi vacated the 10 Circular Road bungalow in Patna on Thursday. After 20 years, the family vacated this residence.
Rabri Devi, along with her family, has shifted to the residence in Kautilya Nagar, which is a private residence. Earlier on June 22, the building department had sent a notice and ordered to vacate the residence within seven days. Rabri Devi had demanded time till July 5 to vacate the government residence.
This government residence at 10 Circular Road has long been the center of political activities of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). From Rabri Devi’s tenure as Chief Minister till recent years. Many important meetings and political strategies of the party have been decided from this residence. 10 circular road house was allotted to Rabri Devi as leader of opposition party in 2006. Now this bungalow has been allotted to Bharatiya Janata Party minister Nandkishore Ram.
However, the government accommodation has not yet been formally handed over to the building department and some vehicles and household items are still present in the premises. The official possession of the residence will be handed over to the government only after the completion of the departmental process.
