Salim Khan Hospitalised in Mumbai, Admitted to ICU After Breathing Issues: Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, father of actor Salman Khan, has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after experiencing breathing difficulties.

According to sources, the 90-year-old writer was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday by his family doctor. He is currently being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where a team of specialists — including neurologists, cardiologists, neurosurgeons, and critical care experts — is closely monitoring his condition.

Late Tuesday night around 11 pm, several members of the Khan family were seen arriving at the hospital. Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, daughter-in-law Shoura Khan, daughters Arpita Khan Sharma and Alvira Khan Agnihotri, along with grandchildren Nirvaan and Arhaan, were present to support him. Veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar and political figure Zeeshan Siddiqui were also seen visiting. Salim Khan’s wives, Salma Khan and Helen, remained by his side.

Hospital sources have confirmed that his condition is currently stable, though doctors continue to keep him under close observation due to his age.

Salim Khan is one of the most respected names in Indian cinema, known for his iconic screenwriting partnership with Javed Akhtar that shaped some of Bollywood’s most memorable films. As news of his hospitalization spread, fans across the country began sending prayers and wishes for his speedy recovery.
