Salman Khan extended support for flood victims, offers 500 new houses: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has extended support to the families affected by the devastating floods in Assam. He decided to do a noble deed by joining hands with the ‘Ashiana – Hope Begins with a Safe Shelter’ campaign. This campaign aims to provide safe housing to those who lost their homes in the floods.

Bhaijaan has become a messiah for these homeless people. Everyone is praising Salman Khan’s bravery on social media and calling him a real-life hero. Salman Khan’s charity work is always discussed. They are always engaged in the welfare of society. From helping cancer patients to funding the education of thousands of children, superstars have always stood up to help the needy.

Under the ‘Ashiana – Hope Begins with a Safe Shelter’ campaign, construction work has already started in Nepali Khuti.  Around 220 semi-permanent houses have been completed in the first phase, providing a safe place for many homeless families to live. The initiative aims to build a total of 500 houses, helping hundreds of flood-affected families to restart their lives with safety, hope and dignity.

Salman’s support has gained attention.  Randeep Hooda, Bhumi Pednekar and other bollywood and local stars have also come forward to help the flood victims in Assam.
