Smriti Mandhana finally opens up. The popular star player of the Indian women’s cricket team, Smriti Mandhana, is now in the news for her marriage. Why was her wedding date suddenly postponed? But now Smriti has come forward and informed that her wedding has been cancelled.
However, Smriti Mandhana herself has now broken her silence on the postponement of the wedding of Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal. Mandhana has issued a statement on social media accepting the cancellation of her wedding. Mandhana shared a post on social media and informed that “the wedding has been cancelled”.
It should be noted that Mandhana and Palash’s wedding was supposed to take place on November 23, but during the wedding, it was revealed that Mandhana’s father was ill, due to which it was decided to cancel the wedding. But now 15 days later, i.e. on December 7, Mandhana has accepted the cancellation of the wedding by sharing a story on her social media account Instagram.
What did Mandhana write?
Mandhana wrote in her post, “There has been a lot of speculation about my life over the past few weeks and I feel it is time to speak out. I am a very private person and I like to keep it that way, but I want to clarify that the wedding has been called off. I want to leave this matter here. I request you to respect the privacy of both the families at this time and allow us to move forward. I hope that I will continue to play for India and win trophies, and that will always be my focus. Thank you all for your support. It is time to move forward.”
It should be noted that Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal were dating since 2019 and decided to get married in 2024. A few days ago, Smriti proposed to Smriti at Palash Stadium, the photo and video of which went viral. However, just before the wedding, news was reported in the media that the wedding of the two had suddenly been postponed. Later, it was said that Palash Muchhal’s love affair was the reason behind this. However, neither Smriti nor Palash has cleared anything about this. Finally, Smriti opened up about it and informed on Instagram that the wedding has been canceled.
