Smriti Mandhana’s Friend Alleges Palash Muchhal Was Caught With Another Woman During Wedding Events: Indian women’s cricket team star Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal had announced the cancellation of their wedding in December 2025, requesting privacy during what they described as a personal and difficult time. The wedding, originally scheduled for November 23 in Sangli, Maharashtra, was called off after being postponed earlier due to health issues in Smriti Mandhana’s family.
Now, weeks after the announcement, Smriti Mandhana’s childhood friend Vidyan Mane has made serious allegations regarding the reasons behind the breakup. Mane has claimed that he was present during wedding-related events and alleged misconduct by Palash Muchhal, which he says ultimately led to the relationship ending.
According to reports quoting Vidyan Mane, he has accused Palash Muchhal of infidelity and claimed that the situation escalated into a confrontation. These claims, however, remain unverified, and neither Smriti Mandhana nor Palash Muchhal has publicly responded to these allegations so far.
In addition to personal allegations, Vidyan Mane has also accused Palash Muchhal of financial fraud. He claims that he invested approximately ₹40 lakh in a proposed film project after being introduced to Muchhal through Smriti Mandhana’s family. Mane alleges that the project never materialized and that he has not received his money back. He further claimed that communication with Muchhal ceased after the wedding was cancelled.

It is important to note that these allegations have not been independently confirmed, and no legal complaint or official statement has been made public at the time of reporting. Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal had earlier issued a joint statement announcing the cancellation of their wedding, stating that the decision was mutual and requesting privacy.
The wedding had initially been postponed after Smriti Mandhana’s father, Shrinivas Mandhana, was hospitalized with heart-related symptoms. Reports at the time also mentioned that Palash Muchhal had fallen ill due to stress and fatigue. Shortly thereafter, the couple announced that the wedding would not take place.
As of now, the allegations remain claims made by a third party, and the individuals concerned have not commented on the matter.
