Sukhendu Shekhar Roy had given his resignation from the Rajya Sabha 4 days ago. Sukhendu Roy had made big claims about the growing dissatisfaction with the opposition in the TMC leader. In such a situation, more MPs of TMC may leave Mamata Banerjee soon, He said.
Bengal has a total of 17 Rajya Sabha seats, of which 13 are held by the TMC and 3 by the BJP. After the resignation of the TMC MP, there will be a by-election here, in which the BJP may benefit, because Mamata Banerjee’s TMC has now split into two.
