Batting first, RCB posted a massive 250/3 in 20 overs, led by explosive innings from Tim David (70)and Rajat Patidar (48).
Chasing the target, CSK was all out for 207 in 19.4 overs. Despite strong contributions from Sarfaraz Khan (50) and Prashant Veer (43), CSK couldn’t get over the line. Bhuvneshwar Kumar led RCB’s bowling with 3 wickets.
RCB’s innings included 19 sixes, setting a record for most sixes hit in an IPL match against CSK. This victory marks RCB’s second consecutive win and CSK’s third straight loss this season.
