TATA IPL 2026, Match 33: CSK Beat MI by 103 Runs: Chennai Super Kings registered a massive 103-run win over Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday. Batting first, Chennai posted 207/6 in 20 overs, thanks to a stunning unbeaten century by Sanju Samson. In reply, Mumbai were bowled out for just 104 runs in 19 overs, handing Chennai one of their biggest wins in the rivalry.
Chasing 208, Mumbai had a disastrous start, losing early wickets and slipping to 11/3. Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma tried to rebuild the innings with a 73-run partnership, but regular wickets kept falling. Hardik Pandya failed again with the bat, and the team could not recover from the early collapse.
Earlier, Samson’s explosive 101* off 54 balls, including 10 fours and 6 sixes, powered Chennai to a strong total. With the ball, Akeal Hosein starred by taking four wickets, while Noor Ahmad chipped in with two. The win helped Chennai move up the points table, while Mumbai continued to struggle this season.
