IPL 2026: Gujarat Titans Beats Sunrisers Hyderabad by 82 runs
TATA IPL 2026, Match : GT defeated SRH by 82 Runs: Gujarat Titans registered a massive 82-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday, thanks to impressive batting performances from Sai Sudharsan and Washington Sundar, followed by devastating bowling from Kagiso Rabada and Jason Holder. Batting first, Gujarat posted 168 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs.
Hyderabad’s bowlers kept the Gujarat batting line-up under pressure throughout the innings and did not allow the batters to score freely. However, Sai Sudharsan anchored the innings brilliantly with 61 runs off 44 balls, hitting five fours and two sixes. Washington Sundar provided solid support by scoring a quick half-century off 33 balls, smashing seven boundaries and one six to help Gujarat reach a competitive total.
Chasing 169 runs, Sunrisers Hyderabad failed to put up a fight as Kagiso Rabada ripped through the top order early in the innings. Jason Holder then destroyed the middle order, leaving Hyderabad struggling throughout the chase. The entire team was bowled out for just 86 runs in 14.5 overs. With this dominant victory, Gujarat Titans moved to the top of the points table with 16 points, overtaking Royal Challengers Bengaluru to claim the number one position.
