13 dead in airstrike southwest of tehran
Airstrike On Tehran, 13 Dead : The US and Israel have intensified their attacks on Iran. The residential streets of the Iranian capital Tehran have been attacked. Thirteen people have been killed in this massive air strike so far, while the prestigious Sharif University has also been attacked.
According to reports, a missile hit the Islamic City, southwest of Tehran, at dawn. The attack targeted a residential building, killing 13 innocent people as they slept. Local authorities and rescue teams are trying to pull out people trapped under the rubble. The death toll is expected to rise.
The attackers also targeted Tehran’s world-famous Sharif University of Technology. The airstrikes also severely damaged the university campus and a nearby gas distribution center. The school was already closed due to the fighting, and there were no students on campus as classes were being held online.
The attack on Iran has sent shockwaves across the region. Israel’s security agency has issued a missile alert. In Dubai, sirens have sounded twice and air defense systems have been activated.
