50 new ama bus running to sambhalpur
50 new e-buses for Sambalpur. The Chief Minister launched 25 e-bus services today. A modern bus terminal has also been inaugurated. To make the transportation of the people of Sambalpur smooth and efficient, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has announced that 25 new e-buses will be launched today and another 25 e-buses will be arranged by the end of this month. A total of 50 e-buses will run in Sambalpur.
The Chief Minister, who is on a two-day visit to Sambalpur, today launched the e-bus service. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that to streamline the operation of these buses, a state-of-the-art bus terminal of the Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) was also inaugurated today at Ainthapali.
Along with this, a provision of Rs. 238 crore 14 lakh has been made for the maintenance of the terminal and buses for the next 10 years. He said that the transportation system of the people of Sambalpur can be strengthened through this bus system. In these buses, special attention has been given to the safety and convenience of the passengers along with the provision of wheelchairs for the differently-abled passengers.
Along with digital payment, a discount on digital payment has also been made in this bus. The Chief Minister said that these buses will help in reducing environmental pollution as they are e-buses. Similarly, on the issue of Bhubaneswar bus burning, he said that safety has been increased in the buses.
Similarly, the cool MD Sanjay Biswal said that this bus is completely modern. Here, if the driver sits in the vehicle under the influence of alcohol, the vehicle will not run. Similarly, even if something comes in front of the bus, it will alert the driver. Meanwhile, regarding the EV that caught fire in Bhubaneswar today, he said that it was a 2018 bus. It was run by another company. We brought it in and fixed it. The fire broke out due to a battery short circuit. The lives of 26 people were saved due to the driver’s quick wit.
