Big Decision Of The Revenue Department : The state government will revise the English names of 7 districts of the state. A formal notification has been issued by the Revenue Department in this regard. From now on, the English spelling will be as per the Odia names. The English names of 24 places in a total of 11 districts will also be revised. It has been ordered to report any complaints or objections within 15 days.

According to the notification, Khordha district will be written as Khordha in Odia. Mahakalpada will no longer be written as Mahakalpara. Deogarh district will no longer be written as Deogarh in English. Deogarh will be written instead of Deogarh. Kendrapara is being written as Kendrapara and Nayagarh is being written as Nayagar. Similarly, the English names of Angul district and Pallahda may change. The government will bring about changes in this.
