Israel, US Strike On Iran; Missiles Hit 30 Locations Including Tehran
US–Israel Strike on Iran: India Issues Urgent Safety Advisory: Tensions in the Middle East have heightened significantly following a series of coordinated military strikes carried out by Israel and the United States on multiple locations in Iran, including the capital city of Iran, Tehran.
It is reported that ballistic missiles were launched at almost 30 locations. This is reportedly one of the most intense periods of confrontation in recent times. The Israeli military operation has been named “‘Shield of Judah’,” an operation they say is a decisive one.
In the midst of this escalating security threat in the Middle East, the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is reportedly moved to a safe location. Sources also suggest that a senior Iranian military official was killed in the operation, though this is yet to be confirmed from Iran.
Trump’s Warning to Iran
In a strong statement following the operation, US President Donald Trump issued a direct threat to the Iranian leadership. He said Iran needs to “lay down its weapons” and threatened severe action if they do not do so. He said military operations have already commenced and would be continued.
His comments have only added to the tensions, which have already put the world leaders in a dilemma, seeking de-escalation of the conflict.
Advisory to Indians Living in Israel
Meanwhile, the Indian government has issued an immediate alert to Indians staying in Israel. Indians have been advised to be highly alert, moving around as little as possible, and to abide by the security regulations set by the Israel government.

The common citizens of the region, however, are on the edge of fear. The citizens of Tehran, as well as the other areas, are in a state of confusion, whereas the citizens of Israel are preparing themselves to retaliate against Iran. The world is looking at the developing scenario with a sense of hope that the conflict would be resolved through diplomacy.
