Ramayan Teaser Release : Ranbir and Yash Fans waiting are over . The glimpse people have been waiting for for a year has finally been revealed. Ranbir Kapoor is seen as Lord Ram, and that too on Hanuman Jayanti. ‘Ramayana’ is one of this year’s most anticipated films, scheduled for release on Diwali 2026. The makers had previously shared an introduction video, but no clear glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor was seen then. But now Namit Malhotra has fulfilled his promise. The first glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor as ‘Ram’ in this 4000 crore film has been revealed. This 2 minute 28 second video is special in every way. It also proves why Ranbir Kapoor was the perfect choice for this role. But what impressed us the most are the visuals. The level is going to be grand.
Namit Malhotra has revealed a budget of ₹4,000 crore for Ranbir Kapoor ‘s “Ramayana,” with the second part releasing on Diwali 2027. However, at the end of the video, Raavan, played by rocking star Yash, is also seen. His face hasn’t been revealed yet; only a back view of him has been shown. A photo of the Pushpak Vimana is also shown, the scale of which is so grand that it’s sure to leave you stunned.
Ranbir Kapoor won hearts as Lord Ram
The first glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor is seen at the beginning of this Rama teaser, 20 seconds in. Shri Ram stands with his bow in hand. But at 34 seconds, a full scene unfolds, where Ranbir Kapoor is walking through a crowd, showered with flowers, as Ram has returned. The next frame shows a glimpse of exile. But then, we see Lord Ram, Mother Sita, and Lakshman, following their father’s orders, with the people of Ayodhya standing in front. Be it the chariot, the common people, a glimpse of Lord Ram passing through the crowd, or a close-up, everything is so grand that it brings joy to the heart. However, the real frame is at 1 minute 14 seconds, when Ranbir Kapoor is seen in the role of Lord Ram. He truly touches the heart.
The teaser also features a beautiful scene between King Dasharatha and Lord Rama. The name Rama is heard, and Ranbir Kapoor turns around to look. He realizes it’s his father’s voice. Sai Pallavi, who plays Sita, is also seen sitting alongside him, along with Ravi Dubey, who plays Lakshmana in the film.
