Trump Dismisses Iran's Proposal, Calls Tehran’s Leadership “Fragmented”

Trump Criticizes Iran’s Proposal and Leadership in Ongoing Talks

US President Donald Trump expressed dissatisfaction with Iran’s latest proposal to end the ongoing conflict, stating that he was “not happy” with the terms. Although he did not provide specifics on the flaws in the proposal, Trump emphasized that the negotiations are dragging on and the outcome remains uncertain. The President added that despite the cancellation of the US envoy’s visit to Pakistan last week, phone talks between the US and Iran continue.

Trump also voiced concerns about the leadership structure in Iran, describing it as “fragmented” and “completely entangled.” He noted that while there is a desire within Iran to reach a deal, the leadership is divided, making it difficult to move forward. “They don’t know who their leader is,” Trump said, pointing to the internal confusion that he believes is hindering progress in the talks.

Despite these setbacks, Trump remained open to continued discussions, saying that while he is not satisfied with the current proposal, the situation is still evolving. However, he also expressed doubts about whether a deal with Iran would be possible in the near future, citing the internal divisions among Iranian leaders as a major obstacle.
