Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday announced free education from KG to PG .The move will benefit all students of Odisha, especially those from the economically backward classes and girls.

CM announces free education from KG to PG: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday announced free education from KG to PG level in government schools and colleges. This initiative aims to support students from underprivileged backgrounds.

While addressing a press conference on the occasion of BJP government completing two years in state CM said the move will benefit all students of Odisha, especially those from the economically backward classes and girls.

Majhi, while addressing a press conference here on the occasion of the BJP government completing two years in the state, said the government has decided to Introduce free education from Kindergarden(KG) to postgraduate(PG) level.This will benefit all the students of the state, especially the economically backward classes and girls. Perhaps, Odisha will become first state in India to implement such a policy CM added.

Chief minister also criticized the previous government, alleging that despite being in power for 24 years, it failed to provide basic amenities to villages. Majhi reaffirmed his commitment to transparency and empowerment through education, calling the free education initiative a transformative step for the state’s youth.
