Man arrested For Circulating Fake Appointment Letters For Puri Jagannath Temple Squad: Police have arrested a person for allegedly circulating fake appointment letters for various posts under the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) in Puri.
Police sources said the accused had circulated forged appointment letters purporting to be from the SJTA to mislead the public and create a false impression of employment opportunities. The accused has been identified as Biprasen Bhoi (46) of Balarampur Gada under the jurisdiction of Balanga police station in Puri.
After being taken into custody, the accused was produced before a local court. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the source of the forged documents and determine whether others were involved in the act.
The SJTA had lodged a complaint with the police after fake appointment orders for various posts in the Jagannath temple squad. Acting on the complaint, Singhadwar police in Puri had registered a case under Sections 319(2), 318(4), 336(3) and 340(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and launched a probe that led to the arrest.
