Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt are now officially married. The intimate wedding took place at the 61- year- old actor’s Bandra residence in Mumbai on Sunday.

The marriage ceremony was attended by family members and close friends. Both couples have signed the official documents to legally register their marriage. Aamir’s children, Junaid and Ira Khan, along with Gauri Spratt’s son(6yr) were also present. Aamir was first married to producer Reena Dutta. Later, he married director Kiran Rao in 2005. The two separated in 2001 and continued to co-parent their son, Azad. Around 150 guests attended the wedding, including relatives who travelled from abroad. Addressing the media at an event, Aamir confirmed his wedding with Gauri on July 5.
Aamir Khan announced his relationship with Gauri a year ago on the occasion of his birthday. He said that the two met twenty years ago. They knew each other. But after many years, the relationship between the two became deeper. Gauri Spratt is from Bengaluru and has spent most of her life there. She is the daughter of Rita Spratt, who owned a salon in the city. According to her LinkedIn profile, she studied at Blue Mountain School and completed a fashion course, FDA Styling & Photography, at the University of the Arts London in 2004.
