Ahaan Panday could be heading for a change of pace after Saiyaara. His upcoming film, Beparwah, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, may present him in a way audiences have not seen before. Choreographer Vijay Ganguly has now shared a few details about the actor’s performance, hinting at a lighter side that could set his next outing apart from his debut.
Choreographer Teases Ahaan’s New Screen Avatar
Speaking to Variety India, Ganguly offered an insight into what the film has in store.
He said, “He has done some good, fun stuff. People will see him in a very different light than what they’ve seen in Saiyaara. Ahaan is immensely talented and having someone like him today is very refreshing for the makers and the audience.”
Ahaan Panday to Explore Dancing in Beparwah
Beyond the change in his screen presence, Ahaan will also explore dancing in the film. Ganguly confirmed that the team has experimented with the element, offering a glimpse of another skill the actor could bring to the screen.
“We’ve explored a little bit of dancing,” shared Ganguly.
Ganguly is also happy with Ahaan’s contribution and is waiting to see how viewers respond to the performance.
He said, “He has done a great job. We are just keeping our fingers crossed that people like it.”
Can Beparwah Help Ahaan Move Beyond Saiyaara?
Ahaan’s debut made him widely recognisable as Krish Kapoor, an aspiring musician whose anger and emotional vulnerability shaped his journey through love, heartbreak and healing. The role helped Saiyaara connect with young audiences and put the newcomer in the spotlight.
His next film now offers an opportunity to expand that impression. With Ganguly suggesting a more playful performance and some dancing, Beparwah could allow Ahaan to explore a different screen identity under Ali Abbas Zafar’s direction.
The makers have yet to reveal his character details or provide a closer look at the dance sequences. For now, Ganguly’s comments offer an early indication that Ahaan’s next performance will not simply revisit the territory of Saiyaara.
Meanwhile, Ahaan Panday also has a yet-to-be-titled movie with Aneet Padda. The movie also reunites the duo with their Saiyaara director Mohit Suri.
