Always feeling thirsty? It could be a sign of poor kidney function: Do you feel thirsty again and again? Does your throat feel dry even after drinking water? These symptoms may indicate some health issues. In most cases, frequent thirst is caused by dehydration, exercise, exposure to excess heat, and excess intake of salt in the diet. 4. Due to lack of saliva production in the mouth, frequent thirst is also felt. The condition is called dry mouth. In this the mouth, throat and tongue may become dry, sometimes the lips also begin to crack. The issue may also develop as a side effect of certain medications.
