Amrit Bharat Train Will Run Through 9 Stations
Amrit Bharat train to run through 9 stations in Odisha. Giving a major boost to rail connectivity in Odisha, the Union Government has approved the launch of a new Amrit Bharat train service to connect Portnoor and Dhanbad. Railway Minister Ashwani Baishnab has informed this through a letter to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
The Railway Minister has informed through this letter that he will strengthen the railway service between Odisha-Tamil Nadu-Jharkhand. Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Railway Minister Baishnab through his X handle for approving this new Amrit Bharat train service to significantly increase rail connectivity in the state.
Before reaching Jharkhand, the train will pass through many important stations in Odisha including Rayagada, Muniguda, Kesinga, Titlagarh, Balangir, Bargarh Road, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda and Rourkela. The commencement of this train service will greatly benefit the passengers of Western and Southern Odisha.
It will also provide easy travel options to South India and other parts of the country. It will also help students, workers, businessmen and passengers who travel frequently between these regions. The new Amrit Bharat train is expected to strengthen regional connectivity and contribute to the overall development of Odisha.
