NHAI Increases FASTag Annual Pass Fee for 2026–27
Annual Toll Pass Price to Increase from April 1: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced a small increase in the annual toll pass fee for private vehicles. From April 1, 2026, the annual pass will cost ₹3,075 instead of ₹3,000 for the financial year 2026–27.
This pass is available only for private (non-commercial) vehicles that have an active FASTag.
According to the new rule, the pass will be valid for one year or up to 200 toll crossings, whichever comes first. If a vehicle crosses toll plazas 200 times before the year ends, the pass will expire automatically.
NHAI has instructed all toll plazas across India to implement the new rate from April 1 and inform commuters about the change.
Drivers who travel frequently on national highways can apply for the annual pass through the NHAI portal or the bank/app that issued their FASTag. After paying the fee online, the pass is linked to the FASTag, allowing drivers to cross toll plazas without paying each time.
