The crew has traveled around 90,000 miles from Earth and is expected to reach the Moon soon. They will circle it in their Orion spacecraft and return without landing.
This mission is the first human journey toward the Moon since Apollo 17 in 1972, highlighting a major step forward in NASA’s Artemis program.
