Asian Games started in 2031
Asian Games May Be Moved To 2031 Instead Of 2030 : While the Asian Games are scheduled to be held in Japan in September-October, the next Asian Games are scheduled to be held in Doha, Qatar in 2030. However, instead of 2030, the Games are being considered for 2031. A proposal in this regard has been approved by the Executive Committee of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA). After this, the proposal will be discussed with various international sports federations.
According to this proposal, the Asian Games will be held in the year before the Olympics. This will make Asia’s largest sporting event a qualifying event for the Olympics, thus increasing its importance. OCA Vice President Song Luzheng said, “If this proposal is implemented, the Asian Games will become a qualifying event for the Olympics. This will increase the interest of high-level athletes and raise the standard of competitions held at the Asian Games as a whole.”
