Pregnant Women Will Get Rs 21,000
Pregnant Women Will Get Rs 21,000 ! Home Minister’s Big Announcement : The second phase of voting is going to be held in West Bengal on May 29. Ahead of this, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is campaigning hard. The election campaign in Bengal has seen a fierce fight between the rival parties. While addressing an election rally recently, Union Home Minister Amit Shah targeted the TMC. Shah said that after the BJP government is formed in Bengal, not a single goon will remain and everyone will be “hanged upside down and made straight”
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee strongly opposed the statement of Home Minister Amit Shah and announced that she wants to file a legal case against him. Chief Minister Mamata questioned how the country’s Home Minister could give such a statement. In addition, Mamata accused the Election Commission of ignoring the complaints filed by her party. Amid this incident, while addressing a public meeting in Bengal on Sunday, Amit Shah reiterated his earlier statement.
Home Minister Amit Shah addressed an election rally in West Bengal’s Tehatta assembly constituency. He appealed to people to vote for the BJP. During his speech, Shah claimed that a “jungle raj” situation has emerged in Bengal, with goons dominating the streets. He assured the public not to worry, as no goons will dare to interfere in the election process this time. He warned that if anyone tries to harass voters on election day, they will be “hanged upside down and made to sit upright” on the 4th.
Shah said, “Didi, your time is up. The BJP government is going to take power in the state on the 4th. Right now, we are only removing names from the voter list. However, after the BJP takes over as the Chief Minister, we will not stop at just the voter list; we will systematically identify and remove every infiltrator from the entire state.”
Shah said that the construction of the bridge over the Jalangi river in Tehatta remains incomplete till date. “I am announcing today that after the formation of the BJP government, we will complete the construction of the bridge over the Jalangi river in just two years,” he added. He further said, “Elect a BJP government on 5th and we will smash every syndicate run by the TMC. We will hang the TMC goons upside down and fight to make them stand upright.”
During the rally, Amit Shah made several key promises to the women of West Bengal. He said, “I want to tell the mothers and sisters here: Elect a ‘Padma’ government, and from this May onwards, Rs 3,000 will be deposited directly into the bank account of every ‘Didi’ (sister). He further promised that a BJP government would deposit Rs 3,000 into the accounts of all unemployed youth in Bengal and provide Rs 21,000 to every pregnant mother to help her take care of her child.
Notably, the first phase of voting in West Bengal was held on April 23. In this phase, over 92 per cent of eligible voters exercised their franchise. Commenting on this, Amit Shah asserted that in the first phase, the voters of Bengal have completely wiped out ‘Didi’s’ chances. He claimed, “Out of the 152 seats contested in the first phase, BJP has won 110. The remaining work is to be completed in the second phase.”
