T20 World Cup ,Australia Team Announced
Australia Team Announced For T20 World Cup; Australia’s squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup has been announced. Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood have been included in this team, while Mitchell Marsh remains the captain. However, Australia, which is struggling with injury problems, has now been in the news after announcing the team for the World Cup. It is said that apart from Cummins, Hazlewood and Tim David are also recovering from injuries. So the selectors are confident that these three players will be fully fit by the World Cup. Australia’s chief selector George Bailey said that the team is currently in the preliminary stage and if necessary, changes can be made before the tournament.
However, keeping in mind the spin-friendly conditions, left-arm spinner Matthew Kuhneman and young all-rounder Cooper Connelly have been included in the 15-man squad. In addition, experienced leg-spinner Adam Zampa and spin alternative Glenn Maxwell are also in the squad. The most surprising thing is that there is no left-arm fast bowler left in the Australian team. After Mitchell Starc, who retired from T20 cricket, no left-arm fast bowler has been selected in the World Cup squad.
