Congress MP Sonia Gandhi is unwell. She was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi late on Tuesday night. She was taken to the hospital after feeling unwell and experiencing difficulty breathing. A medical team led by Dr. Anup Basu is treating her.
Her health is said to be stable now. Her son Rahul Gandhi and daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are present at the hospital with her. This is the second time Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to the hospital in 2026. She was previously admitted to the hospital in January for respiratory problems.

It is worth noting that last year also, senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi fell ill. She was admitted to Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi. According to initial reports, Sonia Gandhi was admitted for a routine check-up.
However, her health has improved and she is likely to be discharged from the hospital by morning. Sonia Gandhi is 78 years old. She was last seen in the Rajya Sabha during the Budget Session of Parliament on February 13. On February 10, Sonia Gandhi asked the government to complete the census as soon as possible.
