New Conditions For Gas Cylinder Booking : Big news for domestic gas users. Gas companies have changed the LPG cylinder booking rules. To prevent black marketing of domestic gas and bring transparency in the distribution system, the gap between booking two cylinders has now been increased.

According to the new rules, the central government has increased the mandatory time limit between delivery and subsequent booking of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders. The gas cylinder booking period has been increased from 25 days to 35 days. Distributors were informed about the new rules on Tuesday.

The new rules of gas booking will especially affect families living in cities. Those who have 2 cylinder connections will face problems. Consumers will have to wait 35 days from the date of delivery to book a 14.2 kg cylinder. New time limit for different categories Gas companies have fixed the time limit for booking cylinders based on different categories of customers. Beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) can now book their next cylinder after 45 days.

Ordinary gas customers who have one cylinder can book a new cylinder after 25 days of gas delivery. In the case of customers who have double cylinders, this has been increased to 35 days.

The booking procedure for small cylinders like 14.2 kg gas cylinders has been changed. 5 kg cylinders can be filled in 9 to 16 days. 10 kg cylinders can be booked in 18 to 32 days.
