Cuttack Rape Case : Cuttack Student Gang-Raped In Puri; Police Arrest Mastermind, 3 Accused Still Wanted . A 3rd year student of a prestigious college in Cuttack was allegedly abducted and gang-raped in Puri. The Cantonment police station has arrested the mastermind in this case. The main accused is Satyavrat Parida of Kalyanipur area of Binjharpur police station in Jajpur. The police arrested him on Wednesday from near Jajpur Road station. Three others involved in this case are absconding. Another police team is continuing to raid various places in Jajpur district.
The minor girl is studying in a college in Cuttack. Satyabrat from Binjharpur works in a company in Delhi. Both of them were previously acquainted. In February, Satyabrat had kidnapped the girl from Cuttack on a bike and taken her to Puri. Satyabrat was accompanied by three other friends. They went to Puri on two bikes. They all hailed from Binjharpur area. After reaching Puri, they all stayed in a hotel. There, the minor girl was kept in detention and given food and drink. After eating, the minor girl fell unconscious. Taking advantage of this, Satyabrat and three other friends repeatedly gang-raped the minor girl inside the hotel. After a report was filed at the police station, the main accused was arrested and the police are looking for three others.
