Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns: The Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan has resigned on Saturday. The development has come amid NEET paper leak controversy.
Dharmendra informed about this decision by sharing a post on his social media platform X account. He wrote, ‘ My young friends, I have been dedicated to students, teachers and education reform for more than 4 decades. I have always believed that a strong, inclusive and visionary education system is the cornerstone of a strong nation. I deeply respect the aspirations, sentiments, and legitimate expectations of the youth of the country. Realizing the dreams of India’s youth has been the moral resolve of all of our political and social lives. To serve the nation under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister ji. I express my gratitude to the Prime Minister for the opportunity I got.’
Youth and students have been protesting for the past few days at Jantar-Mantar in the case of NEET paper leak. The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) was demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to end the protests.
After the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the leaders and supporters of the CJP, protesting at the Jantar Mantar, celebrated calling it a big victory. Addressing the supporters, party leader Abhijit Deepke said that this is the success of the movement and the government had to bow down due to continuous struggle. Abhijit Deepke said, ‘We have done it. Dharmendra Pradhan has resigned. We have proved that Jhukt Hai Duniya, Jhukane Wala Chahiye.’ He said that the aim of the movement is not just the resignation of a minister, but justice to the students and families who have been affected by the alleged irregularities.
