PM Modi Speaks on NEET Paper Leak for the First Time
PM Modi on NEET Leak: Fast-Track Court to Be Set Up: The Central Government has taken a tough stand on the NEET paper leak issue, saying that protecting students’ future is its top priority.
Amid protests by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke on the issue for the first time. He said that fast-track courts will be set up to ensure quick justice in paper leak cases.
In a post on X, PM Modi said, “The interests and future of the country’s youth are our top priority. Fast-track courts will ensure speedy trials and strict punishment for the guilty. No one who plays with the future of the youth will be spared.”
The CJP is protesting over the alleged NEET-UG paper leak and demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Meanwhile, Union Health Minister JP Nadda accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of trying to gain political mileage from the issue. He said the government is ready for a detailed discussion in Parliament and wants a permanent solution to paper leaks.
Nadda urged the opposition to work with the government instead of blaming each other. He also said paper leak cases have occurred in several opposition-ruled states and asked Rahul Gandhi to speak on those incidents as well.
He assured that the government is taking the matter seriously and that the investigation is ongoing. The government, he said, will share all facts once the probe is complete.
