Harivansh Narayan Singh Re-Elected As RS Deputy Chairman
Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman : Harivansh Narayan Singh Re-Elected As RS Deputy Chairman For 3rd Time : Mr Singh has been re -elected as the Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha unopposed . This is the first time that an elected member has been elected as the Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha. Harivansh’s second term ended on April 9. He was nominated to the Rajya Sabha by President Draupadi Murmu last week. Today, Harivansh Narayan has been re-elected as the Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated him on this occasion and appreciated his work. Prime Minister Modi said that his election to this post for the third consecutive time shows the trust of the entire house in him. He said that Harivansh Narayan has tried to take everyone along and the entire house has benefited from his experience, Modi said.
