While the lead actress in this film received a fee of just 5 lakh rupees, her family connection is linked to one of Bollywood’s wealthiest stars.
The two lead stars of the film “21”: Agastya Nanda and Simar Bhatia. This is their first time working together on the big screen, and the film and their performances are receiving positive reviews from audiences.
Directed by Sriram Raghavan, “21” was released in theaters on January 1, 2026. The film stars Agastya and Simar, along with Dharmendra and Jaideep Ahlawat, among others.
Actors fees –
Since the film’s release, the film’s star cast’s fees have been revealed. According to reports, Agastya received ₹70 lakh for the film, while Simar received only ₹5 lakh. The film was made on a budget of ₹200 crore.
Regarding the other actors’ fees, Dharmendra received ₹2 million for the film, while Jaideep Ahlawat received ₹5 million. This is veteran actor Dharmendra’s last film, as he passed away in November.
Speaking of Simar’s uncle, Akshay Kumar, he is among the top 10 richest actors in Bollywood. According to the Hurun India 2025 report, the actor’s net worth is ₹15 billion (₹1,500 crore).
work experience – Although Agastya has worked on OTT projects like Archies before this film, this is Simar’s first project. Few people know that Simar is the daughter of Bollywood star Akshay Kumar’s sister.
