Imran Khan’s health deteriorated in jail. Imran Khan lost his eyesight in jail. Imran’s lawyer told the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He could not get proper medical care in jail. Due to this, the vision of Imran’s right eye has decreased by 85%. Now Imran can see only 15%. He has a problem called retinal vein occlusion. Due to lack of timely treatment, it has permanently damaged his eye. Imran’s lawyer Salman Safdar has informed the Supreme Court in this regard. He alleged that due to lack of timely treatment in jail, the vision of Imran’s right eye has decreased by about 85%.
Imran’s eyesight was fine till October 2025. But later he started experiencing blurred vision. Safdar alleged that his condition worsened as he was only given simple eye drops despite repeated complaints to the jail authorities. Imran’s family and his party PTI have alleged that he was kept in solitary confinement for 922 days and was not allowed to undergo health check-ups.
On the other hand, after receiving this information, the Supreme Court of Pakistan has ordered the formation of a special medical board. It has been asked to conduct a complete health examination of him and submit a report by February 16. Along with this, the court has also allowed Imran to talk to his son who is abroad on the phone.
